First day of school

Monday Aug 24th was the first day of school for the 3 older kids. So far I thing they are really liking the year and their teachers. :)
Here are all 3 ready to go to the first day.

Kaycee is in 1st grade and her teachers are Mrs. Ezell and Miss. Coe

Matthew is in 2nd grade this year and his teacher is Miss Goodman.

James is in 4th grade this year and his teachers are Mrs. Wright and Mrs. O'Brian. James had Mrs. Wright for one of his 2nd grade teachers a few years back.

Coming back to Texas

We left Utah on Friday Aug 14th at about 11:30pm and got to our house Sat. Aug 15th at about 1:30pm. What a looooong drive.
Here are some of the amazing rock formations in New Mexico. James really liked them and had fun taking pictures of them

James even caught a few good shoot of Maddy. He kinda likes her a lot as well. :)

Again??? Seriously.

The last Sunday we were in Utah my niece Alex and my daughter Kaycee were downstairs playing dress up. What I didn't know is they were dressing up Cole. Cole came up in this dress thing, necklaces around his neck and Maddys headband and bow. So my mom decided to put on the final touch. AGAIN!!!

O my

Isn't he cute

He even got lip stick this time around.

Grandma with the white hair

This is my Grandma Woffinden with my girls, Kaycee and Maddy. The kids call her "Grandma with the white hair." Grandma turned 89 years young on Aug 14th.

Orem Owlz vs. the Casper Whyoming ghosts

We went to our second Owlz game the week before we left. Fun, cheep entertainment. Here is the Owlz team warming up

Matthew and Liams b-day party

Matthew was born on Aug 30th 2001. His cousin Liam was born on Aug 30th 2008 so while we were in Utah Brandallyn (Bens sister) and I thought it would be fun to throw a double birthday party for the boys. It was a lot of fun

Hoggle Zoo

The last Wednesday I was in Utah my mom, sisters, their kids and me and my kids went to the zoo. Here are the kids in front of the zoo

There was only 1 elephant on display this day because 2 days earlier the other elephant, Named Kristie, (nit sure if that's how they spelled her name) had given birth to a 250 pound bouncing baby girl. I think they need to name the baby Maddy. :)

Here the kids are on a rhino statue. James, Matthew, Cole, Kaycee and Maddy

I love the giraffes. I think they are the coolest animals around

This trip was even more specials because a new baby giraffe was on display. So cute

The baby with its momma

At the Gorillas Matthew found this head of one. He would look at it like this for a few seconds then pock it in the eye and say "you are blind." Some of the funny things he comes up with. I just don't know. :)

My newest niece Cameron. She was so cute. We started taking pictures and I don't know what she saw or what but she just started to laugh

Me at the "How do you measure up" wall. I may be as tall as a full grown male gorilla but thank goodness I'm not as wide as one

Church history museum

I took the kids to Temple Square earlier in July with Ben's side of the family. So my side of the family went back and went to the Conference center and Church history museum. It was a fun day.
Here is James and Matthew standing by a covered wagon. A replica of a covered Wagon the pioneers came across the planes in.

Cole and Kaycee in a bunk bed. A replica of the bunk beds on the ships that the earlier LDS pioneers came across on from England
