Valentines for the kids

Valentines morning before the kids came down stairs I put out there gifts. I think the table looks so fun. :) I just love how Kaycees gift turned out.

Valentines day and birthday

Ben did good this year for Valentines day and my birthday. We celebrated Valentines day on Saturday because Ben had to work all day and night on Sunday. Any way Ben took the car in for inspection and when I went to pick him up he had a dozen roses for me. Here they are a few days after. They are so pretty.

Then for my birthday he got me a new cell phone. My old ones battery was going bad. Any way I LOVE my new phone. It;s so girly. :)

Houston Zoo

The other weekend the weather was perfect so I took the kids to the zoo. Everyone else had the same idea and the place was packed but it was still fun. :)

Ouchy

What does, masking tape, an old shirt and liquid band aid have in common? They are to fix Maddy's Ouwee. Maddy had developed sores on the thumb she sucks. Blisters to be exact that ended up getting infected. So Ben decided to doctor her up.

Then she decided she didn't like the bandages very much and wanted them OFF!

Look how happy she is. It took about a half hour bat she was able to free her thumb. :)

100th day of school

Monday February 1st was the 100th day of school. Can you believe it, the kids have been in school for 1oo days already. Wow.

Here at our school we have a super hero come every 10 days and visit the kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders. Her name is "Zero the Hero" You see Zero is special because she holds the place for all the other numbers to fall into their place. Here is the little song they sing every time Zero comes to visit.

Zero the hero came to school
Zero the Hero she's so cool
Zero the Hero saves a space
So all the other numbers can stay in their place.
Yaaaaay!

Our Zero the Hero this year was my good friend Dora. Thanks Zero Here's Zero giving Cole come magic Zero dust. :) Mrs Jaggi. The amazing kindergarten teacher.
Each year the kindergartners were a shirt with 100 things and the 1st graders wear a hat with 100 things on it and then parade around the school.

On the 100th day we have 2 "Zero's" So glad I wasn't one of them this year like I was last year. :)
