Elegant Party and other Valentines parties

In the month of February the Kindergartners have been studying the letter E. They learn about an elephant that learns manors and then goes to a party and has to use the manors he has learned. So for Valentines the Kindergartners had an Elegant party. The kids all got to dress up in their "nice" clothes and eat fancy finger foods for lunch. They had little ham sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, veggie and cheese trays, mini quiche, cream puffs, small cheese squares, small sugar cookies and pink punch. They all looked so cute and pretty and did a great job at being elegant.Kaycee with her fiends all dressed up. He is Bethanys little brother. He is also good friends with ColeHere is Matthew at his Valentines party. For his lunch/snack he had chicken fingers, and fruit to dip in chocolate sauceMatthew and his friend. Matthew, Eric and Daniel. Daniel and Matthew are "best friends." For Valentines day I watched Daniel at night while his mom and dad whet out on a date. When Daniel came to the door he handed me a long stem rose and said happy Valentines day. His mom said he thought of giving me the rose all on his own. Very thoughtful and kind. Some of the Games Matthews class played. This one the kids were givin a hand full of conversation hearts and had to stack then as high as they could before the pile feel over. Here they were givin a clementine and had to race to the other end of the room with it by rolling it on the floor with their nose. The kids loved it.

100 days of school

Feb. 7th was the 100th day of school. Both Kaycee and Matthew were able to celebrate by dressing up. This is Kaycee in her 100 day shirt. We got a pink shirt and put her finger prints all over it. 100 finger prints that is! After the finger prints dried I turned the prints into little critters. Totally fun.
Here is Matthew in the lunch room on the 100 day. For Matthew he made a hat with 100 conversation hearts on it.
Her is Kaycee with her friends getting ready for the parade. Kaycee, Presley, Bethany, Megan, Kaitlynn and Lauren. Don't they all just look so cute?
And yes this is yours truly. ME!!! Ugh. In our school "0" the hero comes to visit every ten days until the 100th day. An the 100th day here sister the other zero comes. Well the other zero was a no show this year so they recruited me to play the part. O what a joy. Shoving a size XL body into a size M out fit was great. :)The "zero" the hero song:
Zero the hero came to school,
Zero the hero she's so cool,
Zero the hero saves the space'
for all the other numbers to stay in their place.
Yeah!!!

STATS!!!

Ok so I took Maddy in for her 4 month check up today and here are her stats.

Weight: 15 lbs 13 oz 75% for age
Height: 26 inches that's 90% for her age
Head: 16 1/4 inches. That is in the 50% range for her age.

Maddy is growing like a weed. As you can tell she is a tall roley poley. I love it. The doctor said she likes to see her babies chubby. It means they are being feed right and growing. So I guess we are doing an ok job with this kid. :)

We started her on rice cereal yesterday. She LOVED it. She actually liked it more then her bottle. :) Here are a few pictures of her first rice cereal experience.

Getting ready

Yummy!!!
I think this face shows that she approved!

Fun and cute pictures of Maddy

Here are some fun and cute pictures of Maddy.
This one is of here after her bath. Uncle Eric and Aunt Amber gave her this robe for Christmas. To cute This picture is Ben's favorite. The kids we playing with her and one of them decided to put the glasses on her. I love it!
Here she is sporting the new bow I made her. I also really like this out fit. It is the softest sweater I have ever felt.
Look at that cute smile. :)
A look at the whole out fit. I love it. And yes those are sparkly silver Converse shoes she is wearing. It just added the final touch to the out fit.

Here she is asleep in her car seat later that day. She must have wiggled and got her head band over her eyes. It made for a great close up of the bow. :)
And this picture was taken last Sunday. The dress she has on is from a good friend of mine. Nancy Dunham. I love this dress. It came with this hat and velvet shoes...
But for church I chose to put a bow on her head.
Look at the lace detail at the bottom of the dress. I love this dress and she looked so cute. Thanks Nancy! Here is just a cute close up of Maddy. A friend of mine says she looks like me in this picture. :)
