Grandma great and beautiful Utah skys

Maddy with her Grandma Great. This is my Grandma Pulley and my kids LOVE her and she loves them. :) Maddy really took to her this summer.
Maddy telling Grandma a story. Too cute!
That same night we were able to catch this amazing sky. We were all in the house and I notice it getting very yellow looking out side. We came out to look and this is what we found. Look at the pretty pink color in this cloud.
These clouds are so cool. It looks like the clouds are bleeding into the blue sky.

Check this one out. Again notice the pretty pink color mixed in.

These clouds were so cool. This one has some green in it
Amazing!
We captured these clouds just the day before all the crazy weather hit Utah with the 3 hail storms.

Utah's Kennecott Copper mine's

I have lived in Utah all my life and this was the first time I had been to Kennecott. It was so cool. Kennecott is the biggest man made mine that can be seen form space. It is 2 3/4 miles across and 3/4 of a mile deep. Another fun fact is that the Salt Lake 2002 winter Olympic medals were made of Bronze, silver and gold. All from the Kennecott copper mines.Cool
The trucks hauling dirt
The kids, me, and my sisters Erin and Whitney in from of one of the truck tires. It was HUGE!!!
The kids looking over the mine

Hail storm 2010

After we got back form Kennecott we got home just in time. Right before this happened. It was CRAZY Just look at it.Check out the size of that piece of hail!
Look at the lawn. It was crazy. Utah doesn't have storms like this very often. Funny thing was this was the third hail storm that day.
An even bigger piece of hail!
The sky was beautiful after the storm.

Picking peas

One day my mom was out in the garden picking peas so Maddy decided to go help. :)Then she decided she needed a taste. Can't blame her. Home grown fresh from the garden peas are the best!
Mmmmmm
She liked them. :)
Isn't she the cuties baby ya all know. :) OK so I'm a little bias.

Grandpa's Garden

I can't believe it work. It took about 15 min to load but it worked. :)

Any ways this summer while in Utah the kids all had chores to do. On Tuesdays the boys chores were to help my dad do the yard work. Most of the time it was to help in the garden. Matthew picking weeds
James picking weeds
James looking at the tomatoes
My dad telling Matthew something. Probably to go check on the squash. :)
My dads garden has always been his pride and joy. I love going up there in the summer and eating straight form the garden. Love it!!!
