Maddy's first real outing

Ok I know Maddy was only 10 day old and all but my Grandma was leaving the the next Monday and I really wanted to take her Katy mills mall and the Rain Forest Cafe. So last Friday thats what we did. :) Maddy sleep throught the whole experiance.

Heres Grandma just taking it all in.Even with all the noise my mom was still able to talk to my sister on her cell phone.Cole was all into the Rain Forrest and the animals untill.........the Rain Forrest came alive. He wasn't t to sure of the place then. He would just look around with BIG eyes and his hands over his mouthLooks like the outing tuckered both my mom and Maddy out.

Up-date on Maddy and other stuff

We went in for Maddy's 2 week check up today. She now weighs 9 pounds and 10 oz. And all is well.

Isn't this the cutest picture. At 5 days old Maddy's billyrubon (how ever the heck you spell it :) spiked to 17.2 Here is Maddy having her free "sun tan" infront of the window. This way she didnt need to be put back into the for the expencive "sun tan."

Baby Madalyn is here

Ok everyone Baby Maddy is here. She was born at the Sugar Land Methodist hospital here in Sugar Land Texas on Wednesday October 15th 2008 at 7:08pm weighing in at 9 pounds and 7 ounches. Everything went well and I am glad it is over. We got to the hospital at about 11:30 and the nurse stared the pit drip around 1:30pm. I had an epidural at around 3:30pm and it wore off around 5:30pm NEVER to work again. Yep, you read that right. The epidural wore off and something went wrong. We keep pushing the button but nothing happened. We even had the Dr. come back in and give me 2 more doses of the stuff and that didn't even work. SOOOOOO..... I finished for the last 2 hours on my own. All natural! Talk about an experiance. Not the best feeling in the world, I can tell you that. O and NO TEARING! Any way all is over and everyone is doing well. The nurses and Dr.s were all great. Thanks to everyone that came to see me and Maddy and all the well wished we recieved on e-mail.

I 'm sure the Dr.s and nurses appriciated the cuteness. :)Look how big Maddy is. What a chub.I love this picture. Daddy and his new little girl. Big brother James. Doesn't he look proud? It was great, my mom and grandma brought the kids to the hospital after James game right after she was born. After all the noise (provided by your's truley ME) but befor they took her to the nursery.Matthew and Maddy. Wednesday's the day

Ok, so its offical. The nurse from my OBGYN"s Dr's office called yesterday afternoon and they want me at the hospital on the 15th at 5:00am. Early but not to bad. With Cole I had to be there by 2:00am. No that was to early. So I think I can handle 5am. Well maybe?!?! Any ways I will post how everything goes. :)
